Fees & Costs

FAMILY BOOKING AND PLACEMENT FEES

$75 non-refundable booking and interview fee (once an Au Pair/Demi Pair has been booked and confirmed)
Demi Pair = $500
Au Pair (second language English) with childcare experience with a length of stay up to 4 months = $450
Au Pair (second language English) with childcare experience with 4 – 6 months and over stay = $450 – $700
Au Pair Connections Australia reserves the right to relocate an Au Pair/Demi Pair if the placement fee is not paid on time. Late payment of the placement fee will affect guarantee of placement and incur an administration fee of $30
If after 3 weeks stay with the family the placement is not successful we will either find a replacement Au Pair/Demi Pair or otherwise we will provide a refund of 50% of the placement fee but the Au Pair/Demi Pair has to have had at least 3 weeks stay with the family as it takes time for everyone involved to adjust – we will also require written notice as to why the placement was not successful and then the refund will be at APCA’s discretion
If your financial circumstances change and you are no longer able to retain your Au Pair/Demi Pair, we require 3 weeks written notice to allow time for her/his relocation – no refund will be available
If the family cancels a booking less than 7 days prior to Au Pair/Demi Pair leaving her home country or prior to the commencement date (if already in Australia), no refund will be made

Placement Fee = $400
Working Holiday Visa = $1,400 or Student Visa = $1,500
(cost of visa plus professional services fee)
Department of Immigration and Border Protection fees are subject to change without notice.
